This is ready to assemble plastic model kit. Paints and cement (not included) are needed to complete the model. Side cutters, modeling knife and tweezers are also recommended. Metal Type 99 air cannon included.
IJN D4Y2-S Suisei (Type 12E Night Fighter Judy)

Designed by First Naval Air Technical Arsenal in Yokosuka to replace Aichi D3A, Suisei reached mass production phase in July 1942. Version D4Y2-S was a powered by Atsuta 32 engine night fighter version of the Suisei Type 12 dive bomber. It was fitted with a forward up facing 20mm Type 99 cannon and at the same time, all dive bombing equipment was removed. Thanks to that Judy in this version was capable of passing a Mitsubishi Zero in level flight. The usability of the airplane for night fighter missions was hampered by the fact that it had insufficient climb rate, maximum flight altitude as well as the lack of a radar.
