IJA Chi-Nu Medium Tank (Type 3 Long-Barreled)

Type 3 ‘Chi-Nu’ was in production from the end of 1944 until the end of World War II. Its main gun was based on an existing Type 3 75mm gun which proved to be ineffective against the Allied M4 Sherman tanks. In order to make the tank more deadly in long range combat plans were made to upgrade it’s main gun to Type 5 75mm long barrel gun as of the beginning of 1946.
