Following the U.S. military, the Israeli Air Force introduced the F-15 in 1975, importing a total of 71 aircraft across models F-15A/B/C/D and giving them the nickname “BAZ” (meaning “eagle” in Hebrew). The F-15 “BAZ” is said to have shot down 40 Syrian aircraft in air battles over the Bekaa Valley in 1982, and photos released in recent years confirm aircraft with these kill markings. This kit replicates the appearance of the aircraft around 1982.
