| Responding to the strong domestic and international acclaim for our 1/48 scale Zero fighter kits, we are releasing corresponding Zero fighter kits in 1/72 scale as well. This kit represents the Mitsubishi-manufactured Model 52 mid-production variant featuring the thrust-adding separate exhaust stacks located at the rear edge of the cowling. The sprues are molded in different colors: Green for fuselage and main wings, black for the cowling and landing gear, and gray for the engine and propeller. The instructions and water transfer decals included are for Zero fighters that were active at Rabaul and two that were trained at Toyohashi, Aichi, and then fought as interceptors over the skies of the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia), assigned to the 381st Air Wing of the Imperial Japanese Navy. |
