The kit represents one of the early-deployed aircraft and accurately reproduces the “turkey feathers” actuator covers that were installed to protect the variable exhaust nozzle of the engine and to improve airflow.
Markings are included for the 202nd (Nyutabaru Air Base, Miyazaki Prefecture) and 203rd (Chitose Air Base, Hokkaido) squadrons.
