USAF F-4E (Late) Jet Fighter “Clark Air Base”

The McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II was one of the most capable and widely used variants of the legendary Phantom family. Equipped with an internal M61 Vulcan cannon and advanced avionics for its time, the F-4E combined powerful air-to-air capabilities with effective ground attack performance, serving as a backbone of the United States Air Force during the Cold War.

Aircraft assigned to Clark Air Base in the Philippines played an important strategic role in the Pacific region. Located on Luzon Island, Clark Air Base was one of the largest overseas USAF installations and served as a major hub for tactical fighter operations, pilot training, and rapid deployment missions throughout Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific.

F-4E Phantom II fighters stationed at Clark Air Base were operated by units of the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing and regularly participated in regional exercises, air defense missions, and multinational operations.
